Monday Glumday...again.

So, I'm in a sorority. I'm an alum now, but still - "Phi Mu is forever."

This picture is completely irrelevant besides the fact that I'm wearing a Phi Mu tank.

If you didn't know, I work for a pageant production company. We put together four state-level pageants for the Miss USA system.  I work all day long to find pretty girls in four different states for the competition and quickly fall in love with some of them. They're just all so pretty, and when I'm not being bitter about their skinniness and ability to JUST SAY NO to brownies and ice cream, I actually enjoy meeting them.

Naturally I was THRILLED when one of my girls asked me to write a letter of recommendation for her! She's rushing in the fall and wants to be Phi Mu. =) I was like, "OMGSH OF COURSE TELL ME ALL ABOUT YOURSELF," but with less all caps because I was afraid she'd mistake my excitement for misplaced rage. So I wrote her a nice, shiny letter and mailed it off a couple weeks ago.

Anyway, the point is - all of my Phi Mu ladies have officially deactivated their Facebooks for pre-recruitment and recruitment weeks, starting TODAY so I have like 150 less people to stalk.  Ergo, I might be spending all of this extra time on blog redesign. How shocking.

Happy Monday. I have nothing else to say.

  5. Does it seem terribly shallow if I say that I'd love to live your life for a few days...or weeks...!
