My first post about fall ▲

Wednesday, October 17

On Friday I hopped a plane to Virginia where I met Taylor and Brittany at my mom's house in Chesapeake. I hadn't seen them since Brittany's wedding in June.

I got in late on Friday evening, and because Taylor and Brittany had to battle the traffic leaving DC at rush hour, they got to the airport right in time to pick me up. We got to my mom's, had some late night pizza, and then went to bed.

On Saturday, I finally got to do some fall related activities. I love fall. There was a wine festival in Williamsburg, but we opted for something a little more grade-school. PUMPKIN PATCH, complete with little red wagon.

After we picked out our gourds, we headed to Target to get supplies. We decided to avoid the mess of carving and just paint them (mainly because we aren't patient nor talented enough). I was in pumpkin-themed heaven. Yes, I painted a cat on mine.

After the novelty of our pumpkins wore off, we pretended to be back in college.

After playing a never-ending game of Beer Pong and an entertaining game of Drunk Ass, it was time for the FSU game. We beat Boston College 51-7, although Taylor and Brittany fell asleep during the 3rd quarter.

I love weekends like this.

  4. I read your blog a few weeks back, but just came back by today. I can totally relate to this post "painting our pumpkins instead of carving" because I did the same thing a couple weekends ago. Too lazy maybe? Yes, I'm sure that's what it was. :)

I am also following you on Instagram - Have a great rest of the week girl!
