Visiting Washington D.C.

I spent the weekend in DC with Taylor, and on Friday we embraced our inner tourists by exploring our little feet off.  I say that, but in reality we walked around, I took pictures, and Taylor put up with me for 8 hours...

Our first stop was the National Mall, and after that we headed to the Smithsonian Botanical gardens because I got it in my head that I could find some landmarks from the show Bones. Bones is filmed mostly in LA.  And the Jeffersonian is not a real building.  Just so you know.  I found that out after walking all over creation in search of this fake institute.

The botanical gardens were really pretty though...

Next we headed to the White House so see Barack and Michelle and the lady who's been peacefully protesting since the creation of time.

We stopped for lunch at a place called Nando's.  I first found Nando's when I lived in England.  My friends and I ate there all the time and I was excited to discover it was actually a chain and there were a couple in DC.  Their chicken is theeeee best.

Stay tuned for part dos.
